2011 Race Season.

Hey everyone. I'm a little late getting this blog off and going but i got it now. I'm just going to try to catch everyone up on whats gone down so far. So it's my 3rd year racing now. Last year I did pretty well with my racing. I'm definitely taking it more competitive this year and hitting up the BC cup circuit and as many other races as i can possibly get to. This year I got the opportunity to ride for Specialized Bikes through Gerick Cycle. It's really early in the season but it's been super awesome already. Gericks has been great with getting me going with Specialized and supporting me. This year I'm racing junior expert and I am really looking forward to the compitition!

My new bike came in February and man I was stoked! The thing looks really wicked and performs even better! After taking it out of the shop and riding it on what snow free trails i could find, I needed to race!

My First race of 2011 was the Double Down how Down in Spokane. It was a two day race on two different courses. So much fun! Really fun fast trails! The first day of racing was super good! I had a really good result of 8th and under 1 second off the leader. Very good way to start off the year. Second way was going really good in practice, everything was feeling super tight. The race came and the top 80% went perfictly! I came into the last real rocky steep section to desty and went for quite the ride through the air! No major injuries and the bike didn't even have a scratch!

 The next race we were off to the first of the BC Cups. Race The Ranch in Kamloops. Had tons of fun there! It was really good riding! My run wasn't  flawless. I made two mistakes near the top of the corse that costed me. I tried to make it up by peddeling as hard as i could. Managed to pull off 17th place out of 38. I was happy with that, but know i could have done much better. I'm super excited for the next race!
